Although Republicans have the majority in the House of Representatives, Congresswoman Brown is working to use her voice, her vote, and her office to oppose the reckless and radical actions of the Trump Administration.

  • Filed legislation to restore anti-discrimination policies rescinded by Trump back into law. (H.R. 989)
  • Filed legislation to block Republican efforts to cut SNAP benefits (H.R. 2489)
  • Voted againstRepublican Reconciliation Bill (H.R. 1)
  • Filed Amendment to H.R. 1 to Remove Harmful SNAP Provisions (voted down by GOP)
  • Voted against GOP Budget Plan to cut Medicaid, SNAP, Head Start and more to pay for a tax cut for billionaires
  • Voted against Republican funding bill that cuts domestic programs, empowers Musk and DOGE, and jeopardizes local project funding
  • Cosponsored the Taxpayer Data Protection Act (H.R. 1350) to prohibit the unlawful access to data by Elon Musk
  • Cosponsored the Nobody Elected Elon Musk Act (H.R. 1145) to hold Musk legally liable for illegal actions
  • Cosponsored the Department of Education Protection Act (H.R. 433) to prevent the dismantling of the Department of Education
