Appropriations Requests

Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriations Requests

Each year through the appropriations process, Congress allocates money for offices, programs, and grants administered by the federal government. As a Member of Congress, Congresswoman Brown advocates for priorities and programs that benefit Ohio's Eleventh District through the appropriations process.

In recent years, Members of Congress have been able to submit community project funding requests, or requests for funding directed towards specific projects in their communities. For Fiscal Year 2024, Congresswoman Brown was allowed to request funding for up to 15 projects. You can find the full list of those projects here.

All guidance and availability of FY25 CPFs are forthcoming pending the Majority’s release of any FY25 updates. The deadline to submit FY25 forms will be released upon guidance from the House Appropriations Committee.

General Programmatic and Language Requests

Programmatic requests are requests for Congress to fund a federal program at a specific level or to include language directing a federal agency to implement a program in a specific way.

Community Project Funding

Community Project Funding (CPF) is an initiative started in FY22 that allows Members of Congress to request direct funding for projects that benefit the communities they represent. CPF is separate from federal grants and funding apportioned by formula.
