Past Event: Congresswoman Brown Hosts Advance Screening of 'Shirley'

On Friday, March 15th 2024, Congresswoman Shontel Brown hosted an advance screening of the Netflix original 'Shirley'-- telling the story of the United States' first Black woman Congress member, Shirley Chisholm. 

Congresswoman Brown was joined by Cleveland City Council Member Stephanie Howse-Jones, Cuyahoga County Council Member Meredith Turner, and Crystal Bryant-Agyemang, former Executive Director of the Cleveland NAACP for a Fireside Chat after the film.
