Our veterans have fought valiantly for our country, and I'm ready to fight for them in Congress.
In the 117th Congress, I supported the VA Employee Fairness Act to ensure our veterans receive better care by expanding collective bargaining rights for healthcare workers who care for our nation's heroes.
When we sent our servicemembers into harm’s way, we made a promise that we would take care of them when they came home. The Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act (PACT Act) assures our heroes receive top-quality care as the largest benefits expansion for veterans in a generation. Specifically, the PACT Act will help ensure that over three million veterans exposed to burn pits and toxins can now access the care they deserve.
Passed in the last Congress, the bipartisan MOVE Act delivers results for our veteran servicemembers by expanding health, fitness, and counseling services for veterans. This bill will help to enroll more former servicemembers in preventative health fitness programs to ensure first-class healthcare for our veterans.
I look forward to continuing to work as a coalition builder in the 118th Congress to secure more wins for our veterans in Ohio’s Eleventh Congressional District.
