Congressional Art Competition

Every year, the Congressional Institute organizes the Congressional Art Competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent within each congressional district. Since its inception in 1982, over 650,000 high school students have participated in the Artistic Discovery competition. The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students living in the Eleventh Congressional District of Ohio. 

Winners from each district will be honored at an annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., as well as in their home districts. The winning art pieces will be displayed inside the U.S. Capitol for one year for all Members, staff, and visitors to view and admire.

The deadline for students residing in OH-11 to participate in the 2024 Congressional Art Competition is Friday, April 5th, 2024, at the close of business
