Past Event: ACP Signup Events with Special Guests from the FCC

Do you need help paying for internet service or devices like tablets or laptops? My office and a new federal program may be able to help.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which I proudly voted for, provides eligible households with up to $30 per month off their internet bills through the new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). ACP-eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to buy devices like laptops or tablets.

Eligibility is income based and if you participate in SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, or some other programs, you may automatically qualify. To find out if you qualify visit www.getinternet.gov or click here.  You are eligible for the ACP if your income is 200% or less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines. For an individual that equates to $29,160 or less, $39,440 for a two-person household, $49,720 for a three-person household, etc.

Step one was passing the legislation. Now, we're working to deliver the benefits.

To help eligible constituents take advantage of this program, my office is hosting two more Affordable Connectivity Program Signup Events. These events will feature staff from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as special guests who will help constituents sign up for the Affordable Connectivity Program.
