Congresswoman Brown to Host OH-11 Housing Expo Saturday October 5

Washington, DC– Congresswoman Shontel Brown (OH-11) will host an OH-11 Housing Expo at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center on Saturday October 5 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Constituents are invited to attend this free resource event. Attendees are asked to RSVP online here. To date, over 1000 people have RSVPed.
The housing expo will feature federal, state, and local agencies and offer resources and information for current and prospective homeowners. Participants include: the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Cuyahoga County Department of Senior and Adult Services, the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, the City of Cleveland Department of Community Development, Cleveland Housing Court, the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and more.
The expo will also include breakout sessions on federal assistance programs, property taxes, mortgages, housing resources for seniors, downpayment assistance, and more. Attendees will also be able to receive a free credit check. Breakout sessions begin at 11:30 AM. (Sessions listed below.)
