The Expo also featured breakout sessions on homeownership, property taxes, probate planning, housing vouchers, and more, offering real solutions for individuals and families navigating today’s housing landscape.

“Safe, stable, and affordable housing is a human right,” said Congresswoman Shontel Brown. “I’m proud we were able to bring this one-stop-shop to Northeast Ohio, connecting people directly with the tools and resources they need. Trying to buy a home can feel overwhelming – so we wanted to bring answers, information, and experts straight to the community. Thank you to Tri-C for hosting us and to all of the partners who made today’s incredible event possible.”

“Next week, I’ll be introducing a resolution to formally recognize our national housing crisis and call for urgent, coordinated action at every level of government. Renters and buyers alike deserve a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home.” said Brown. “I want my colleagues to understand: this crisis is real, and it’s time we do something about it. I was also glad to hear directly from local experts during today’s panel discussion, which highlighted just how urgent and widespread this issue is in our own backyard.”
