Statement from Congresswoman Brown on Remarks by Rep. Higgins

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Shontel Brown (OH-11) releases the following statement:

“The comments by Rep. Clay Higgins are racist, menacing, and repulsive.
 
“To see a Member of Congress use their official account to perpetuate lies, attack and threaten Haitian immigrants is not only disgusting and disgraceful, it is downright reprehensible. This type of rhetoric is dangerous to our community, country and the Congress. He should be censured.”
