Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Marcia L. Fudge announced her retirement. Secretary Fudge has led HUD since March 2021 and represented Ohio’s 11th Congressional District from 2008 to 2021. She also served as Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (2013-2015) and as Mayor of Warrensville Heights, Ohio (2000-2008).

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Shontel Brown (OH-11) has secured $13,727,485 in federal funding for Northeast Ohio in The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 - a package of six domestic funding bills focused on helping communities across the United States. The legislation passed the House and Senate and was signed into law by President Biden today.
