Brown (OH-11), Chellie Pingree (ME-1), Fred Keller (PA-12) and Troy Balderson (OH-12) introduced the Further Incentivizing Nutritious Donations of Food Act, or FIND Food Act. The bipartisan bill would expand existing and create new tax deductions and credits to better incentive farmers and suppliers to donate food.

CLEVELAND – Today, Rep. Shontel M. Brown (OH-11) announced the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) has been awarded $4 million in grant funding through the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Bus and Bus Facilities Grant Program. The funding will be used for GCRTA’s Hayden Garage Roof Replacement Project.

WASHINGTON – Today, on the one-year anniversary of President Biden signing the American Rescue Plan into law, Rep. Shontel Brown called for an extension of the expanded Child Tax Credit. The American Rescue Plan expanded the amount of the Child Tax Credit and provided families with advance monthly payments totaling up to one-half of the credit, cutting child poverty by 40 percent.
