The bipartisan and bicameral legislation enhances the Child Tax Credit and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, cuts taxes for businesses that invest in innovation, and protects East Palestine, Ohio, residents from a surprise tax bill due to receiving relief payments from Norfolk Southern. After passing the House, the legislation now goes to the Senate.

Local police were directed to her address by a hoax message and took prompt action to investigate the matter.
